Latest News

September 2010
  • Of course, the BIG NEWS…Shadow’s Embrace comes out September 1!! It’s the 5th book in the Wolf’s Heritage series. The series starts with New Year’s Kiss but each book is standalone. Shadow’s Embrace is probably my favorite in the series (so far!). I’m in love with the heroes and I relate to the heroine. And can I say? The sex is freakin’ hot.

I’ve three projects going right…all short works I’m hoping to finish up in the next few months. Another dragon book is on the horizon. I thought it was going to be next but a really sexy alien jumped the line. He just demanded his story get written and I think you’ll approve once you meet him.

I’ve recently discovered that my e-books are available through Barnes and Noble. com as well as Amazon.com so if you have a Nook or Kindle, you can read in comfort. Now that I have an e-book reader, I’ve been relishing the joys of reading in bed once again.

Hope you’ve been enjoying your Summer! Happy reading!

  • Been a while since I’ve updated but here’s the latest news…Marvin and the Three Bears is available at Ellora’s Cave. It’s a sequel to Fairy Dust (though you don’t need to read Fairy Dust to catch onto the story). Marvin is second in command in Fairy Tale Land and when some sexed up Fairy Dust gets thrown on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Marvin jumps in to save the tale. It’s fun and sexy and even more sexy. I had fun with this one.

I’m almost (within days) ready to send Shadow’s Embrace to my editor. Shadow’s Embrace is the fifth in the Heritage of the Wolf series. If you’ve been following the family (New Year’s Kiss, Summer’s Caress, etc.), in this one you meet Kalen, their sister. She doesn’t quite fit into the werewolf world but when her human fiancé gets bit, she finds herself dragged back into Pack life. I’m really happy with this story. The heroes are both powerful characters and I can relate to the heroine. No release date on this one yet but I’ll let you know more as soon as I know.

Beyond that, I’m working on a short piece and then I’ve got another dragon book in my head that’s just about ready to come out. More news as that progresses as well.

    Have a great summer!

  • Oooh, lots of news. My two favorites…I’m on Kindle and a new release.

Ellora’s Cave books are being put into the Kindle format and at least six my titles are available. There are more to come. They are loading EC’s back list alphabetically so my dragon books are there along with Christmas Elf (a holiday treat) and Close Quarters.

And the other big news is Taking Shape is being re-released in e-format on January 1, 2010. Great way to start the New Year! Taking Shape was originally released in the anthology Transformations. Nick is shapeshifter who can turn into anything (or anyone) he touches. He finds himself in some interesting situations while trying to prove the delectable Tally isn’t a criminal. It’s funny and sexy and good fun.

Beyond that, I’m almost ready to submit the next werewolf book to my editor. And crazy stories are popping into my head. They might be to irreverent to write but I’ll have to see.

Don’t forget, I’m on Facebook and I have a new blog.

Like I said, lots of news.

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

  • October 2009
  • It’s Fall (almost winter in Alaska). It’s turning chilly and crisp and the best news…Jackson’s Rise is out! Released October 7 from Ellora’s Cave, it’s time for Jax to meet his mates. Jackson’s Rise is part of my werewolf series which started off with New Year’s Kiss, followed by Summer’s Caress and Maxwell’s Fall.

I’ve really been enjoying these characters and the world. So much so, that I’m working on the next book in the series. The working title is Moonlight’s Shadow and it’s the tale of Kiki, sister to Mikhel, Max and Jax. I’m about half-way through the writing, then we’ll see what my editor thinks. I’m hoping to have it done and submitted by the end of November.

Beyond that, I’m working on some revisions of Marvin’s tale and a couple of smaller stories that have been nagging me to finish.

Last month, I got a wild notion and re-read two of my books—Dragon’s Rise and Dragon’s Fire. It’s been years since I’ve picked these up and I loved returning to that world. Now I’ve got dragons stomping around my brain again and that’s always good fun.

    Enjoy the Autumn colors!

  • August 2009
  • It’s been a busy summer and it’s staying that way! Lots going on…Maxwell’s Fall is coming out this month. Mark your calendars, August 26! Maxwell’s Fall is a sequel to New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress. It stars one of the twins (Max, obviously) who you met in Summer’s Caress. Max ends up impersonating his twin brother, Jax, and falls for the woman he thinks Jax is destined to marry. And yes, it’s a m/m/f ménage story so Jax’s best friend gets involved and then they all get “involved” and wow does it get hot. Good fun!

Check out the Coming Soon page under “Books” to read more.

    Contest!

My writer’s group has been very prolific and successful this year. We have 4 authors with books coming out in August. To celebrate we’re holding a contest. Be aware that you could be added to each author’s mailing list but you can unsubscribe at any point. As most of you know, I only send out a few messages a year to my list and I’d love to have you join.

Here are the four titles, authors and release dates. I encourage you to check out my fellow writers.

      * Maxwell’s Fall by Me! (Tielle St. Clare), Ellora's Cave

    Other News

Marvin’s story is submitted to my editor and I’m nervously waiting (tap, tap, tap) for her reaction. I think it’s good fun (and really sexy). We’ll have to see what she thinks.

And I’ve started a new story. The working title is “Moonlight’s Shadow” but that could change. It’s another in the werewolf/ménage series. This is about one of Mikhel’s sisters, Kiki. She’s a very untypical werewolf but it only takes the right touch to bring out her animal’s wild side.

Don’t forget to find me on Facebook. facebook.com/tiellestclare.

I’ve also started a Fan page which you can access from my main profile.

    Have fun!

  • July 2009
  • The number one question I’ve received over the last two years is “when’s Dragon’s Prey coming out in print?” And now I have an answer…it’s Here! Dragon’s Prey is available in print. Just follow the link. I’m really excited about it and love the new cover!

More stories…Kissing Stone is now available from Ellora’s Cave. It’s the re-release of a story that was originally in the Irish Enchantment Anthology. It’s about a shy woman who ends up with a piece of the Blarney Stone. She kisses it and suddenly she’s saying and doing things she never thought she could…including seducing the man she’s been lusting after for months. It’s good fun. I wrote it back in 2003 so my style has changed a bit but I enjoyed it when I re-read it.

I’ve been teasing you with promises of more werewolves and now for the pay off. Maxwell’s Fall and Jackson’s Rise are done and in the queue for release. Maxwell’s Fall should be out late August. No release date yet for Jackson’s Rise. Check out the Coming Soon page here for the cover and blurbs. I’ve just started work on a story about one of their sisters, Kiki and her heroes are yummmmmy.

And Marvin’s story is almost done. If you read Fairy Dust, you might remember Marvin…he’s the sympathetic second in command for Fairy Tale Land. Well, he’s got his own story and dang me, but it’s smokin’. I’m sitting with a glass of ice water throughout the editing process.

Don’t forget to find me on Facebook. I keep things pretty up to date there. I’ve got book covers and some other bits posted. Please be my friend at facebook.com/tiellestclare

    Have fun and stay cool!

  • June 2009
  • The big news…somebody play a drum roll please…Dragon’s Prey is coming to print! I don’t have a release date but it’s on the Spring/Summer print schedule. I’m very happy about that and thank you to everyone who has written asking about its print release. Once I have an actual release date, I’ll send out a message to my email list (if you aren’t already on the list, send me a note to tielle@tiellestclare.com.)

Also, Maxwell’s Fall and Jackson’s Rise are through the editing process. Don’t have release dates yet but it’s getting closer. The covers have been done and are verrrry sexy. As soon as I get permission to reveal them, I’ll post them here and on my Facebook page. Maxwell’s Fall and Jackson’s Rise are the sequels to New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress. Both are hot (really hot if I do say so myself) ménage werewolf stories about Mikhel’s twin brothers.

Beyond that, I’m writing a sequel to Fairy Dust (which I think is freakin’ hilarious…we’ll see what my editor thinks, eh?) and working on several new smaller projects.

Have a great summer. Stay Cool!

  • January 2009
  • First, check out the new releases…I have a story in Ellora’s Cavemen: Jewels of the Nile IV. The title is Mating Run and it’s short and sexy and lots of fun.

Speaking of werewolf books, the sequels to New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress are almost here. No release dates as of yet but they have titles…Maxwell’s Fall and Jackson’s Rise. These continue the stories of characters met in Summer’s Caress—Mikhel’s brothers, twins Max and Jax. The books are filled with action, a little humor and well, lots of steamy sex. Each twin gets a chance to find his mates in an unlikely place.

And I’m working on a follow up to Fairy Dust. More about that once my editor gets over the shock of what I’ve done to a much beloved fairy tale. Ha!

And a question I’ve been asked a lot recently…are there any more dragon books planned? I have a couple more stories from that world in my head. I have just haven’t had the chance to write them down. I’d still love to redeem Kafe (from Dragon’s Kiss) and I’d like to find some lady-dragons for Sixx’s men (from Dragon’s Prey). We’ll see what happens after I get the werewolves out of my system.

  • March 2008
  • Fairy Dust is coming soon! (April 2 from Ellora’s Cave!)

Very excited about this book. It’s good fun, has lots of humor and two hunky heroes I just couldn’t resist (thankfully, neither can Marlena).

I’ve gotten questions recently about two of my series so I thought I’d answer here as well…yes, I’m working on more werewolf stories to continue the series of New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress. I have at least two, hopefully four, more in the series. I should have news in the next few months about a couple of those.

Several people have asked about Malachi’s book (the friend from Through Shattered Light). Yes, I’ve still got the book in my brain. I just need to find the time to get it put into real words. I got distracted by my werewolves, I’ll admit.

It’s been a long winter and I need a tropical vacation!

  • February 2008
  • Wow, hard to believe the holidays are over and we’re already in February? Eeek. Where is the year going?

And I have fun news to share…

I’ve got the cover for Fairy Dust. Check it out on the Coming Soon page under Books. I think you’ll love it as much as I do. Fairy Dust will be released April 2, 2008 which is coming up much faster than I originally expected.

I also found out I have a story in the fourth Ellora’s Cavemen: Jewels of the Nile anthology. Won’t be out until December but I’m very happy about it. Werewolf-menage story. Very sexy.

I’m continuing to work the sequels to New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress. Max and Jax (Mikhel’s brothers) are each getting their own books and boy, are the twins keeping up the family tradition.

I also joined Facebook so come be my friend.

I’m finally understanding myspace but I’m still a little shaky on how to work Facebook so patience and any advice is welcomed!

    Have fun!

  • November 2007
  • It’s been a quiet month writing-wise. My attention got pulled away from my werewolves to write a different family of werewolves. A short story that I’ve submitted to my publisher. We’ll see if it gets picked up. Now, I’m back to writing the sequels to New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress.

The big news in my world—I’m on My Space! Come be my friend at myspace.com/tiellestclare It’s taken me a long time to get with the internet technology world but I’m finally catching up.

Also, I told you last month that Through Shattered Light is available in print. Cool new cover as well.

And, my story “First Moon Rise” is now available in print in the Feral Fascination Anthology. So check it out.

    Have fun!

  • September 2007
  • I’ve had another story accepted at Ellora’s Cave. Release Date unknown at this point but I have a title. It’s called Fairy Dust.

It’s the story of a slightly bored Fairy Godmother who works some extra magic with her Happily Ever After Fairy Dust. Her bosses are not happy with the results of her experiments and believe she’s out of touch with the true purpose of fairy tales. To help her regain her perspective, they decide she will become part of a tale (or two or three) until she understands that fairy tales are about overcoming obstacles and finding that one true love (not about hot passionate sex).

With a little help from her HEA Dust and a friend in high places, Marlena breaks open some fairy tales and gets a chance to find her own Happily Ever After.

I’m really excited about this story. It’s funny and sweet and has lots (lots!) of hot sex. It’s a m/f/m (sometimes m/m/f) ménage tale. Whoohoo! I’ll let you know more about release dates and excerpts once I have more information.

    In other news…

Through Shattered Light is now available in print! So for those who like to curl up in bed with a sexy, fantasy romance (this was my first story that had a M/M love scene!), look for Through Shattered Light at your favorite bookstore or online.

I’m working on two more sequels to the family of werewolves you met in New Year’s Kiss and Summer’s Caress. Hoping they’ll be finished soon and can be presented to my editor with dreams of publication. These puppies (get it?) are so hot they are making my keyboard steam up.

I’ll post more news on that project as I have it.

Thanks to everyone who’s written me about Summer’s Caress. I’m thrilled that you’re enjoying it so much. I love these werewolves. They are soooo sexy.

    Have fun,
    Tielle
